ValleyCats introduce former Mets first round pick Kumar Rocker

Former Mets first round draft pick Kumar Rocker was formally introduced as the newest member of the Tri-City ValleyCats on Saturday afternoon at Joe Bruno Stadium. Rocker is expected to make his first start on June 4th. He will play for the Cats until the Major League Baseball Draft in July. Rocker has taken the year off from baseball, working out to prepare for the draft and is now hoping the Frontier League can help get him ready to return to the sport.
