NewsChannel 13 salutes Navy Seaman Second Class Salvatore Andrews of Albany.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1943 at age 18, and served on the USS Cabot.
Sadly, he was killed during a Kamikaze attack in 1944, with dozens of other crewmembers.
He received the Purple Heart and Silver Star.
