Haughty went gate-to-wire in the Lake Placid Stakes for Mechanicville trainer Chad Brown on Saturday at the Saratoga Race Course. Jose Ortiz took the mount in place of Joel Rosario, who was sick. Haughty was one of four Brown trainees in the field for the Grade 2 race.
