Troy’s Michael Kennedy selected by Pirates in 4th round of MLB Draft

Troy graduate Michael Kennedy was selected by the Pirates in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball Draft on Monday afternoon. The New York State Gatorade Player of the Year is committed to play at LSU this fall, but will now have a decision to make about whether to go to Baton Rouge or sign with the Pirates. Kennedy says its was a dream come true to get that call from Pittsburgh while surrounded by family and friends.
