Thousands of people will line the streets of Albany tomorrow for the 74th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Festivities kick off this Saturday, March 15 at Lexington and Central Ave at 2 p.m.

The parade is free for anyone to watch, and will be filled with food, pipers, step dancers, and marching bands.

The committee organizing tomorrow’s fun is made up entirely of volunteers from over half-a-dozen local Irish organizations.

NewsChannel13 spoke with the parade’s chairman and organizer, Pete McCoy, who shares why he looks forward to spreading Irish pride in the Capital Region every year.
