Clifton Park has been honored as Tree City USA for the fourth consecutive year by the Arbor Day Foundation, recognizing the community’s commitment to planting, growing and maintaining trees.

This distinction reflects the town’s efforts in environmental stewardship and its dedication to enhancing community well-being through green initiatives.

The Arbor Day Foundation, a global nonprofit organization, aims to inspire individuals to plant and nurture trees for a healthier environment.

It has about a million supporters that have helped plant more than 500 million trees in forests and communities since 1972. That includes 60 countries.
