Firefighters in Troy battled a fire at a home on Third Avenue on Friday night.

Flames broke out on the second floor of a home.

The Troy Firefighters posted on social media that one firefighter was taken to the hospital with a minor injury.

The Fire Chief says the flames did not spread very far.

The American Red Cross says they provided emergency aid to one adult, which included financial and emotional assistance.
