As NewsChannel 13 previously reported, Heather Cianfarani, 42, from Charlton was arrested Nov. 26.
The arrest came after Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic incident on Charlton Road.
The district confirmed on Monday that Cianfarani is an elementary school teacher at Wood Road in Ballston Spa.
The district released this statement to NewsChannel 13:
“The district is aware of the incident. We are working with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. The employee has been placed on paid leave, pending further investigation.”
