Hudson Valley Community College says their students are staying in school at a record high rate.
The college has maintained year-over-year student retention rates above 60% since the fall 2021 semester, they said.
The average student retention rate during that time for SUNY community colleges across the state is 57%, according to HVCC.
The implementation of several new student support efforts over the years are to thank for their success, the college said.
