Improvements may soon help troubled Wilton intersection

People living in the area where a serious Wilton crash happened on Wednesday morning say the intersection is notorious for incidents like this.

The crash between a dump truck and car happened in the area of Route 50 and Edie Road. Two people were hurt.

The Wilton town supervisor told NewsChannel 13 on Thursday that the town approved installing a stop light at that intersection about two months ago. Paperwork is in the process of being filled out, and filed. Once approved, the light will be installed, but it’ll still be several months before anything happens.
