Montgomery County man accused of illegally having rifles

A Montgomery County man is accused of illegally possessing guns.
Deputies received a complaint that Timmy K. Billington, 49, of Fultonville, had rifles. Billington was prohibited for having weapons because of previous felony convictions, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
The Montgomery County Regional SWAT Team and officers on March 31 searched his residence. Billington was arrested without incident.
Billington was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Root Town Court and released on his own recognizance. Billington is due back in Charleston Town Court at a later date.
