Moreau man charged with felony DWI

A Moreau man is facing a felony driving while intoxicated charge.
Charles S. Kelsey, 64, was stopped for speeding and not going through a stop sign on Monday just before 10:30 p.m. on Sisson Road in Moreau, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Kelsey was driving while intoxicated and during a time when his license was revoked because of a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years. He allegedly refused to submit to a chemical test.
Kelsey was charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device and traffic violations.
Kelsey was released on appearance tickets and is due in Moreau Town Court at a later date.
