No one was hurt in a fire at a home in Fort Edward on Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a residence on Lower Elizabeth Street around 6:30 p.m. for a report of flames being spotted inside the house.  

It took about an hour to get the fire under control. Firefighters did have a few challenges on their hands. There was a lot of clutter in the home and the fire had a pretty good head start by the time they arrived, according to the fire chief.

The cause is under investigation.
