North Adams man arrested following investigation into three-car crash in Stillwater

Cyrus A. Furtado Sr. of North Adams, MA was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office on Friday for a crash involving three vehicles in Stillwater.
The Sheriff’s Office says they responded to the scene at 3:24 a.m. on Hudson Avenue.
They say Furtado is accused of driving while in an intoxicated condition and refusing to take a prescreen breath test when a police officer requested it.
He is also accused of failing to operate his vehicle within a single lane.
Authorities say Furtado was charged with the following:
- DWI
- Refusal to take a breath test at the request of a police officer
- Moving from lane unsafely
Furtado was released on appearance tickets pending further proceedings in Stillwater Town Court.
