Paintball game to honor Troy 12-year-old who died of cardiac arrest
People will be coming together in Troy Tuesday to play paintball and honor a 12-year-old boy who passed away last month.
Izayah Avery was a 7th grader at Heatly in Green Island. He sadly passed away on September 12.
Izayah went into cardiac arrest and was airlifted to Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York City.
He went into cardiac arrest for a second time and suffered permanent brain damage.
The Paintball Battle for Zay event is this Sunday, October 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Capital Combat Zone.
The entry fee is $10 per person.
All the money collected will go directly to Izayah’s family. It will help pay unexpected medical bills.
There will be fun kid-friendly scenario games.
No experience is needed, new players are welcome.
There will also be a raffle with some great items donated by the paintball community.
