Pittsfield Police have been getting several complaints about kids playing with air-powered toy guns that shoot pellets.

They’re very concerned. First, some of them look like real guns. Police have also gotten reports of injuries and property damage.

They also add kids have been running and driving erratically around downtown Pittsfield, and it’s becoming unsafe.

Police will have low tolerance for incidents involving these guns, they said, and will not hesitate to file criminal charges.
