A couple more pools are open across the Capital Region to help people cool off.
The city of Amsterdam’s municipal pool opened Monday morning at 11 a.m.
The cost is $1 to get in.
The pool is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, it will be open until 7 p.m. on July 1, 3, 5, 8, 10 and 12.
The city of Watervliet also opened its pool. The mayor said a new splash pad is also ready.
People need a pool pass. They are available on the city’s website for $5 per season, which comes out to about 10 cents per day.
