The first phase in a public housing revitalization is now complete.
A ribbon-cutting was held Wednesday at the Steamboat 20 Apartments on Rensselaer Street in Albany.
The Albany Housing Authority was behind the revitalization, with upgrades to the building’s energy efficiency, and an all-electric system to reduce air pollution and mitigate extreme heat.
The end goal is to provide a comfortable and safe environment for residents.
