Rotterdam man accused of possessing child pornography

A Rotterdam man is accused of possessing child pornography.

State Police said Jalil S. Vaughn, 30, had images consistent with child exploitation at his home.

The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cyber tip.

Vaugn was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child. He was sent to Schenectady County Jail to await arraignment.
