Sheriff: Amsterdam sex offender failed to report address change

An Amsterdam sex offender is accused of failing to notify authorities of his address change.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said Justin M. Pringle, 36, did not notify the office of the change in residence within 10 days as required.

A warrant was issued in January and Pringle was arrested on Monday. Pringle was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.

Pringle is a Level 2 sex offender, which is deemed moderate risk to reoffend. He was sentenced to 6 years of probation after being convicted in February 2024 of second-degree sexual abuse, according to the sex offender database. The victim was 13.
