Stuff the Bus food drive continues through Friday in Malta
Price Chopper-Market 32 in Malta has put a school bus in its parking lot. They need your help to fill it with food.
This is the second year the grocery store has parked a school bus in its lot and asked customers to donate to a local food pantry.
Anything from non-perishable food to everyday toiletries are accepted.
They’re all in need at the Franklin Community Center, which helps people across Saratoga County.
“I don’t think that people really realize how desperate the need is for families that are out there,” said store manager Paul Colwell.
“These are record years of people who are in need, and this food really goes a long way.”
There are pre-packed bags near the checkout lines at the Market 32 in Malta, or you can purchase what you want, and the staff will make sure it gets on the bus.
