SUNY Schenectady Aquatic Center gets $10M in state funding
The state has awarded $10 million in funding for the aquatic center project in Schenectady.
The SUNY Schenectady Aquatic Center is receiving $10 million in state funding.
This is part of funding awarded to expand access safe swimming opportunities across the state.
SUNY Schenectady is building an Olympic-sized swimming pool, warm water instruction pool, heated therapy pool and multipurpose spaces.
Assemblyman Angelo Santbarbara said it will be designed with accessibility for all.
Money also was awarded to Albany for the Lincoln Park Pool.
