State Police arrested two people in Kinderhook during a traffic stop.

Around 4:40 p.m. Friday, troopers stopped Jose Sanchez and his passenger, Kenneth Douglas, on Route 9H near the Presidential Estates mobile home park.

Inside the car, troopers say Sanchez had cocaine and crack cocaine with him, while Douglas had a crack pipe.

Sanchez was arraigned in Claverack Town Court and taken to the Columbia County Jail.

Douglas was given a ticket to appear in Kinderhook Town Court in May.
