Albany students create ‘volume cities’ to learn math
Students have been creating volume cities
Students at Eagle Point Elementary School had a unique way to learn math.
The fifth-graders have been creating volume cities over the last two weeks at the Albany school. The hands-on homework project tested students’ knowledge of perimeter and volume. Students designed blueprints for their cities and then constructed models which they shared on Friday.
They also had the opportunity to present their models to the class.
