RPI professor’s experiments now aboard International Space Station
Two experiments from an RPI professor that were launched into space earlier this week have arrived at the International Space Station.
Joel Plawsky is a professor and head of the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at RPI.
He is responsible for two experiments that were sent to the International Space Station.
One will examine the movement of heat from one pipe to another. The other experiment will test and validate theories of boiling and condensation.
Plawsky has had a number of experiments conducted on the ISS in the past.
