17-year old injured in dirt bike accident in Schenectady

Schenectady Police are investigating a dirt bike accident in Central Park.

Police responded to Duck Pond in Central Park at 8:46 p.m. Friday.

Officers found a 17-year-old suffering from serious injuries from the accident. That teenager was brought to Ellis Hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.

Police and emergency vehicles could be seen surrounding Duck Pond.

The Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office accident reconstruction team is assisting at the scene.

Police said there is no further information available as the investigation remains ongoing.
