2nd annual Fandom Fest features local SFX artist

Fandom Fest is back at Proctors this weekend and as the organizers say, we all have an inner nerd.

The second annual event at Proctors features a special effects artist who moved from the Capital Region to Los Angeles to follow her dreams through cinema makeup school.
Delaney King fell in love with scary movies and scaring people when she was about 13 years old.
We got a preview of the type of work the Averill Park grad does and what it takes to make it in Hollywood.

Fandom Fest starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
There’s cosplay, gaming tournaments and some of the most iconic vehicles from tv and film, like Kit from Knight Rider.
