Three firefighters were hurt while fighting a Saturday morning fire at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Richmond Avenue.
Fire Chief Carl Coon says one of the injured firefighters was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
He says the heavy smoke and strong winds made it very difficult.
It took a few hours to get the fire out, because of the extreme temperatures and slippery conditions.
Everyone inside the building when the fire started made it out safely, say investigators. The building is severely damaged. The cause is under investigation.
