3 hurt, 1 seriously in Bennington crash

A person is fighting for their life after a crash in Bennington.
A Dodge with a camper collided with a Jeep on Route 279, east of Route 7 Tuesday afternoon, investigators said.
The camper was disconnected from the Dodge and ended up on the other side of the guardrails.
The operator of the Jeep was flown to Albany Medical Center.
The driver of the Dodge had to be extricated. He and his passenger were taken to Southwestern Vermont Health Center and are expected to be OK.
The road has reopened after being closed for several hours.
