Albany Empire looking for missing equipment, paychecks recalled
Albany Empire accountant Alex Gunaris says final paychecks were recalled after some players didn’t return property and equipment after the team was kicked out of the NAL.
The Albany Empire is investigating after equipment and team property went missing after the team’s last game.
Football gear and other items were missing after the team was removed from the league, Gunaris said.
The equipment includes football helmets, shoulder pads, and jerseys.
Once they get a list of players who returned all equipment they will reissue payments, Gunaris said.
