Albany man accused of having ghost gun, crack cocaine

A 30-year-old Albany man is accused of possessing a ghost gun and crack cocaine.

Albany Police found crack cocaine, a digital scale and paraphernalia consistent with drug distribution during a search on April 22 of a First Street home.

Russell Gibson also allegedly had a 9 mm ghost gun with a high-capacity magazine loaded with 22 rounds.

Gibson was indicted on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He pleaded not guilty in Albany County Court on Monday and was sent to Albany County Jail.

He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
