Albany man found guilty of setting woman on fire last November
A 40-year-old Albany man was found guilty Monday of setting a woman on fire last November.
Houston Ketter III was convicted of first-degree murder, attempted murder and two counts of assault, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. Ketter was indicted after police said that on Nov. 13, 2022, he set a woman on fire in an attempt to kill her.
Also, Ketter was accused of attempting to seriously injure a second victim on a different date.
Ketter was held without bail pending sentencing, which is scheduled for Dec. 19.
