Albany pair arraigned in 2024 drive-by shooting

An Albany pair was arraigned Thursday in connection with a drive-by shooting from last September.
Dayshon Miller, 34, is accused of shooting someone in the area of First Street and Lexington Avenue on Sept. 5, 2024.
The person fired back, and a bystander was hit in the crossfire. The woman survived.
Nashala Turner, 36, was also arrested after police searched the apartment she and Miller share on Washington Avenue. Officers found a loaded 9mm handgun.
Both are charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Turner is out on bond. Miller is back in the Albany County Jail.
They face 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
