Albany Police investigating a stabbing near Quail and West Streets

Albany Police tell us they are investigating a stabbing that happened Saturday morning in the area of Quail Street and West Street.

Police responded to the scene around 8:10 a.m.

Upon arrival, they located a 22-year-old male with a stab wound to his back.

Authorities say the victim was treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and taken to Albany Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
