Albany traffic stop leads to gun, drug charges

An Albany man is facing gun and drug possession charges.
Jameek Baker, 30, was pulled over around 7:30 Wednesday evening at Henry Johnson Boulevard and Livingston Ave.
During the traffic stop, deputies found a semi-automatic handgun he wasn’t allowed to have, and crack cocaine, they said.
Baker was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Albany County Jail.
