Albany Water Department issues statement after billing errors
The Albany Water Department is apologizing for a billing error, that affected nearly 900 customers.

The department tells us due to a software issue, 845 customers received incorrect charges.
The water department is reaching out to those customers directly.
If you made a payment already, the difference will be refunded in the next 30 days.
If you have not paid, ignore your invoice until the water department can adjust the charges, and send you a new one.
