All lanes of the Thruway are now back open after a serious crash Thursday morning in Albany.

A tractor-trailer and a car crashed at around 8 a.m. between exits 23 and 24 on I-87.

The tractor-trailer has now been removed.

There is no immediate word on the extent of injuries.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call 518-457-6811.
