Albany got a little taste of the deep south today during the annual Mississippi Day celebration.

This fun event was held at Lincoln Park in Albany.

It honors Black families who came to Albany from various communities in Mississippi.

People got to enjoy historical presentations, as well as a lot of food, vendors, and live music.
