Twenty years later, and Audrey May Herron’s disappearance is as current as it was in 2002.
Herron was last seen as she finished her shift at the former Greene County Long-Term Health Care Center in Catskill around 11 p.m. on Aug. 299, 2002. She was driving westbound on Route 23 in Catskill when she vanished, along with her 1996 Jeep Cherokee.
Her daughter, Sonsia Court, hosted Riding for Audrey, a motorcycle event in remembrance of her mother’s disappearance 20 years ago.
Like Herron’s family, so many others are searching for their loved ones with questions. That’s where Mary Lyall’s Center for Hope comes in. Since the disappearance of her daughter, Suzanne Lyall, Mary has dedicated 24 of her life to help others navigate the difficult task of searching for a missing loved one.
The New York State police asks that anyone with information on a missing persons case to 1-800-346-3543.
