Autopsies were scheduled on Thursday for Alice and Edward Gavin.

The two Berne residents who died in a fire at their home on Thompson’s Lake Road around 2 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
