Bethlehem Police looking for armed robbery suspects
Bethlehem Police are investigating an armed robbery in the parking lot of Plug Power.
The victim told police that he had arranged through Facebook to meet in the parking lot of the business at 125 Vista Boulevard in Slingerlands to sell jewelry. Two black men, one with a handgun, had gotten into a physical altercation with the victim, stole the jewelry and his car keys. They then fled the scene.
The vehicle was a dark Toyota Siena minivan, possibly purple, that was last seen southbound on Vista Boulevard toward State Route 85.
The suspect that displayed the handgun was wearing a black-and-white skeleton sweatshirt hoodie and a mask, police said.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Bethlehem Police Department at 518-439-9973.
The Bethlehem Police Department said there is a safe exchange location for E-commerce on the east side of Bethlehem Town Hall at 447 Delaware Ave. It is monitored by surveillance video and police personnel.
