Boy, 8, three others hurt in three-car Hudson crash

An 8-year-old boy was flown to the hospital after a three-car crash in Hudson.

The crash happened at around 2:20 p.m. Sunday on Route 23.

Riyah Small, 46, of Amsterdam, was driving west, when she crossed into the other lane, state Police said.

Small hit a car driven by Gianna Quinici, 38, of Freehold.

Small’s car may have rolled over and struck a third car driven by Kirstin Hoose, 44, of Ravena, according to investigators, who are still looking at everything.

The child was a passenger in Small’s vehicle. He was taken to Albany Medical Center and is expected to be OK.

All three drivers had minor injuries and were also taken to Albany Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation.
