Bright lights, loud noises being used to disperse crows in Troy

If you notice an extra presence up in the skies of Troy, it’s not your imagination.

Efforts are underway to disperse crows in Troy this week.

Crews are using pyrotechnics, spotlights, non-harmful lasers, and amplified, recorded crow distress calls.

They may produce loud noises and flashing lights, but will not harm the birds, say wildlife experts.
