BROADALBIN – A Broadalbin hemp processor is about to see a lot more green – and we aren’t talking about the color of the crops.
Jason and Sonja Ambrosino are among the first in the state to receive a license to produce adult-use cannabis products. They sell all things CBD.
It’s all been legal, as long as the level of THC, the chemical that gets you high, was below .3.Â
With the adult-use cannabis license, the Ambrosinos will be able to make products that go above that threshold.
The next big step for the business is when they can sell their products directly to the dispensaries. That’s a move that should happen by the end of the year.
Starting Live at 4 and on WNYT.com, 13 Investigates’ Tessa Bentulan will give you a closer look at the process of making marijuana products, and what benefits recreational-use can have for your community.
