Broadalbin man accused of firing gun in person’s direction

A Broadalbin man is accused of firing a gun in the direction of a person standing in a driveway.
State Police said William A. Mickan, 56, left his home on April 14 just before 10:30 p.m. and fired the gun at the victim in a neighboring driveway. The victim was not hurt, fled the area and contacted police.
Police seized the gun.
Micken was arrested the following day and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. He was taken to Fulton County Jail to await arraignment.
