Capital Region man was set to meet Pope Francis on Wednesday

Financial analyst Steven Bouchey is in Rome, and he was hoping to be able to meet Pope Francis.

Bouchey, of Bouchey Financial Group, told NewsChannel 13 that he was going to have a mass said for him and private tour of the Vatican and was scheduled to meet with Pope Francis on Wednesday.

He spent the afternoon in Vatican City.

“People are obviously overwhelmed with grief. You have a lot of sad faces. The square, St. Peter’s Square, is packed. There’s no capacity for any more people,” he said.
