A Clifton Park man has admitted to manslaughter in the death of a barber in Albany.
Timmoure Miller, 19, pleaded guilty in Albany County Court on Monday.
The shooting happened on May 13, 2023. Tyrone Staley was killed.
Staley was cutting hair at Village Barber and Beauty on 2nd Avenue in Albany. A 19-year-old man and a 9-year-old boy in the barbershop were also hit, but survived.
The 9-year-old boy was the grandson of Reginald Graham, the owner of the barbershop and a pastor. Graham previously told NewsChannel 13 that he believed that the target of the shooting was outside the barbershop.
Miller faces 25 years in prison when sentenced on Oct. 28.
Charges are still pending against Dejoune Smith and Samir Princeton. A hearing is scheduled for Nov. 20.
