Closing arguments were expected Wednesday in the murder trial for Justin Walker in Albany County Court.

Walker is accused of shooting and killing Christopher Bryant, 30, on April 29, 2022.

The shooting happened near Madison Avenue and Grand Street, according to investigators.

It was the city’s first homicide of 2022.

Police think the victim was targeted, they said.
