Coats were handed out to kids in need in Albany on Thursday morning.

It’s part of the Cash for Coats drive.

Thursday’s distribution was at Eagle Point Elementary School on Western Avenue.

Cash donations were collected in October and November for the drive.

More than 1,500 coats and 3,500 hats, gloves and scarves are being given out to students in the Albany School District throughout the season.
