Cohoes HS will host the Trucking Association of NY on Tuesday morning to advocate for the career of truck-driving.
Cohoes High School students will have a chance to see what it’s like to work as a truck driver.
The school is partnering with the Trucking Association of New York for a truck-driving simulation event.
Truck drivers can earn more than $60,000 a year and play an important role in New York’s economy.
There is a shortage of about 80,000 drivers across the country right now.
This is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cohoes High School.
